Abertson is going to far, imho. They have pointed to AA in their original memo which should raise immediate doubt about practice so no proof is needed. They claim that Model Numbers are based on p4 frequency while it is not at all and amd made it clear. AMD compares their model numbers and performance with intel chips but that is common practice.
Now, there is a broad Itanium implementation going on that no one knows about.
