It surprises me how wrong the NYT got it. It does not surprise me, Bill. When articles and confessionals about the "Gay Priesthood" are pouring out in a torrent now, the 50 percent-gay-figure for priests is being called a gross underestimate by insiders ... to write an article on the Church sex scandal and scrupulously avoid ever mentioning A WORD about homosexual priests ... is DEEEEENIAL at its journalistic worst. The New York Times? Like I say, NO surprise. (Hey buddy, knock off the "Mr.", ok? I'm just a kid at heart ;-)). JC
