I am not surprised, and I am sure that it contributes to the confusion here. By using the word "brainwash", you invoke negative connotations for teaching children to have allegiance to God and State. Then, you do not distinguish between those who are good and the "some" who are bad, but merely say that some become especially evil, implying that the others are tainted. Then, even eliminating the "all", you say that evil "spurts from" allegiance to God and State, which implies a direct connection, and not the abuse of such sentiments by the unscrupulous. I now think that you are not getting the nuances (like the connotation of "brainwashing"), and that that is hurting our ability to resolve this issue.......
