Now the thought process is working. The only way HP/CPQ will survive is to put this whole mess behind them as soon as possible. The best way to do it is getting Wally off the board and Carly out the door ASAP! With Carly gone, the employees sit up and pay attention. The media circus leaves with a dramatic ending. No more Carly to hate or HP way champion. MC is not a nice guy when it comes to restructuring. But with Carly gone, they can't complain too much without getting the gate. Make him COB if he pulls it off. Clean it out and clean it up fast. Both companies are leaking cash.
