as an alternative to an israeli military operation, the u s, u n, europe, and some arab countries should make clear that what the palestinians ultimately get will be less the more they kill israelis. it is absurd to put aside past terrorism of palestinians and only consider the most recent terrorist acts. if the u s, u n, europe, and some arab countries do not make clear that what the palestinians ultimately get will be less the more they kill israelis, than the israelis should take sufficient action that the palestinians will overthrow those in power who have instigated, awarded, allowed the terrorism which led to the israeli actions.
