Glenn, you have a JD. You should know by now the "busto" lawyers collect all the money.
The Enron "busto" lawyer wanted $3 million from the common shareholders, just to take the pain, and suffering of the up coming case.
Personally, I would have taken $1 million, but then again I don't have a JD like Richard Nixon did.
Ps
Didn't Billy Clinton have a JD too, until he was banned from practising law?

>>Yes but did they admit wrong doing?<<
CSFB, recently paid a $100 million dollar fine without admitting guilt, over the 1999 ipo scam.
MER's Henry Blodget slipped out the back door with over $ 5 million to write a book, with out admitting any guilt or wrong doing.
Don't you remember this post I made to you on Dec 8th 2001?

Glenn,re:"Did they admit wrong doing?" That's for the
low-lifers. The upper-echelon class always come up
with: 'win, win, win'. Like 'Teflon', nothing BAD stick
to the 'upper class'.
They have different 'vocabulary', 'scale', 'metric',
'morale', 'honesty', .... EVERYTHING is different from
a average Joe/Jane.

Glenn I think parting with $500 million is an admission of something!
