Michael,

Quite often averages shows up on the screen much later then the rest of the data. It is not consistent with my computer load, as I get delays even when nothing else is running on my computer. It feels as if my averages are computed on your computers. Is it correct? And if it is, any chance that in the future versions of Qcharts all the calculations will be left for client computers?

Not long ago I received a letter from the new owner of Ravenquotes. He claimed that the redesigned program became a 100 ( hundred ) time faster than before. How is that possible? Of course he exaggerated improvements, but even old Raven was much more stable than Qcharts, had much more capabilities, was faster and amazingly used less resources. BTW, there's no guarantee that Qfeed will always be the only data source for Raven.
With the best developers working on improvements to eSignal and Raven , or whatever it is now, you guy's might be up for a rude awakening in not so distant future.

Regards

gm

Michael, In the latest e-mail received regarding the latest version download, a link is supplied to go directly to the download page. This is where you get when you click on it

LYCOS FINANCE HAS UPDATED ITS SITE!

Check Out The Changes

You will be taken there in 5 seconds...

All old urls will be redirected to the New Lycos Finance Home Page.

So you are taken to the new home page. All fine and good, but I'm not sure if you've noticed it has ALWAYS been impossible to find anything on the site pertaining to Qcharts from the home page. There have never been any links whatsoever to anything but the account management pages and subscription upgrade pages on the Lycos Site. Even when it was the Quote.com site...

The Site map is useless, It's a generic Lycos site, with only a Finance link listed and there used to be a Qcharts specific one. I had it saved as a bookmark, some even given to me by other users since they were so hard to find. The index page which listen links to things like symbol directories and such.

That link I had saved is now useless. There is no index anywhere I can find to find all those important Qcharts urls again. Can you provide a link or links to the Qcharts are of the site? Some kind of Index or sitemap? As well as one to the download page, as it is now unreachable through the redirect.

You might want to mention this to the design dept, how their is no Qcharts sitemap and all the important info on the site is useless to all users. For instance, how do you get to the Network Update page from the Lycos Finance front page? I'm a graphic designer, and I find the site has one of the worst layouts and ease of navigation and it's been that way for the past few years. And that's supposed to be the Lycos Biz <g>

Thanks, Susan
