Me too. :-)

BUT just to start the ball rolling: Taxpayers are the people who pay for gov't. It's their money that makes the whole thing go. Why should those getting a free ride on the backs of the productive parts of society get to determine how money they did not contribute get spent?

This is not an idea totally without precedent. In the early Republic, when men were men and patriots were true, only property owners voted. This was the case in England until about the middle of the 19th century.

And felons can't vote.
