John, did you actually read that article? It pretty clearly states that the the Real Networks deal with Intel is a non-event. The deal will put the RealOne Player on Intel motherboards. But Intel's share of PC motherboards is "no more than 4%," and of that tiny fraction, 30% are for specialized systems that wouldn't run streaming software anyway. This is hardly supports your argument that somehow MSFT can't conceivably be "too tough and unfair" because of this piddly deal. In fact, if this is the best coalition that a pair of companies the size of Intel and RealNetworks can put up against MSFT, I'd say it rather tidily refutes your argument.
