albert - I think you are confused. Intel has been producing devices on 300 mm wafers for a little while already - but they are Intel's Tualatin processors - Pentium 3s.
The Pentium 4s made on the 300 mm wafers have been reported as coming next month or already being produced, depending upon which article you read.
You really shouldn't be so upset. I haven't seen you blowing your cork over AMD's failure to ship their 0.13 micron products, now, have I?
