In your favor, is that every rally in 2001 failed in the mid-to-high 50s. Lots of resistance in this area. And valuations are getting stretched.

Against you, is that AMAT is, once again, becoming a momentum stock, a stock that is attracting dumb money, the money that always jumps on the bandwagon after the stock has already doubled off its lows. And there is trillions of dollars of dumb money on the sidelines, just now beginning to think that maybe the world isn't going to end tomorrow. They are just hearing the news: there never was a recession, and we won the war, and it's safe to be in stocks again. And this money has no memory, it learned nothing from what happened to it in 2000 and 2001.
