Yes, to be completely fair about this, many on the left including those who are atheists constantly make fun of religious people, especially those on the conservative side of the political spectrum. There is absolutely no doubt about this fact.

It is just assumed that all at the party will be likeminded, that is the peculiar thing. I wonder if your average "secular" knows anyone who is religious as a social peer, at least to talk about it.........
