I guess if Don Sew was looking at them he would call them imperfect.ggg In truth I didn't go back and look critically after the close, so now I see that NDX has a 5 point body and that's appreciable, probably would not qualify for an abandoned baby even if we did gap down. The rest kinda look like inverted hammers. My take on a hammer with the handle pointed up, i.e. the shadow of the candle is mainly on the upper side, is that the price ran up and hit a trend line or supply ran out or demand dried up or Donald Sew went home. ha Anyway, something happened on the up side that the market didn't like. To me it just shows weakness for whatever reason. I just thought it would be neat if.... don't know if it will and now that I have posted this we will probably gap up on everything Monday. ggg I keep on accumulating evidence like the turn dates around the 5th of April, the 8th of April, coupled with the position of the VIX, coupled with the gaps up that could signal something, coupled with my stochastics on the daily and weekly charts. hmmm, however, the only thing I don't have is an oversold signal. This is the reason I keep sniffing around the Ewavers, even though I don't practice it I have a lot of respect for it and Fib numbers in general. And I keep looking for confirmation where I have some modestly differing signals. BTW, the differences are not enough to bias me to go back in, I don't have an entry point so I will be in cash for the next little while almost regardless of what happens. By my system it would probably be several days if not a couple of weeks before I get a firm buy signal. If the bottom dropped out this could change but I don't expect this to happen. I did notice the Fed turned the money pump off Friday, so we will wait and see what the effect of this is. Maybe the country can limp along over the weekend with no money, on second thought my wife is going to the mall. Hmmm, maybe I should call Big Al and tell them to put more liquidty in. hehehe Good luck next week Paul, Paul K.
