OT: Yes, scary stuff. I check fairly regularly both STRATFOR and Debka, and they seem OK, but this one is a bit overboard. At least I hope it turns out to be. An impending conflict with Russia... I would doubt that at this time.

if they were here -- I think they would have done it already. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if the Soviet Union worked to develop "compact nuclear" weapons and I sure hope that we have them. What seems very implausible is that they would have been sold to Iraq ... lesser grade technologies, sure, but not that, if it exists.
