If you would take a short reality check you will find that Carnahan's re-election chances have been written off by both parties. She brought out a sympathy vote in 2000, but they got burned watching the Democrats commit flagrant fraud in St Louis. There will be no sympathy now, but a crusade to correct the "Missouri Mistake" of 2000. I seriously doubt the Democratic party will spend much money for her. And the liberal soft money, no doubt, be re-routed to Senate races where the left still has an outside chance...
