Yes, I've watched the marathon a number of times. Half a dozen friends have run and finished, some numbered and some not. The TV coverage is very good and the crowds are the best. I'm Bullish, but with a lot of patience. Accounting changes and regulatory tightenings may put a lid on earnings by the end of next quarter. This anticipated honest-abe enron facelift may also spook the buyers. Another consideration is the tightening of short term credit for companies as the paper gets more expensive for barrowing, and the honest-abe stories around GE-JPMorgan by Mr. Gross contimues to bloom with spring.
