We'll have to see if AMD can get there. Sure, BrandX tier-3/4 OEM thinks they can hit it big with blade based Athlon MP systems, but the question is if they can do well in mainstream. I am wondering the same thing about Xeon. Like the Athlon, Xeon is still a hot chip, which sort of defeats the purpose of a blade server. Tualatin is great for those, and I would expect Banias to be great in blades as well next year.
