Not at all. The hatred is too ingrained. It's gonna be a long war, but I don't think it'll be all that hard on Israel. The Arab military might is just not that great.

I'm fairly certain that such actions would not quickly end terrorism against Israel. But playing nice with the terrorists isn't going to stop them either. Some of them will be deterred or stopped by such measures.

Overall I think that whatever plan is put in place by Israel the terrorism will continue. Some plans work better then others at the margin but there is no available quick fix.
