Let me clarify one thing...I was quoting from a letter from a mining friend with my copy button and didn't edit the last sentence off when I posted. I have been involved in mining for the last twenty years, but as an investor and gold analyst not as an operational miner. And I do not have any current properties. The writer of the letter does. Barrick has never done anything to me personally, they have always been very professional when I have visted their properties and met with their executives. The reason that I am on their case is that I feel that their hedging has driven most of the other gold companies out of business and severely depressed the real market price of gold. I know you don't believe that but the forum provides a window for debate.
