We're not in competition here Just like in sailboat racing or amateur radio DXing, I've always enjoyed a good friendly competition and often found it quite useful in improving my skills. It sometimes stimulates me to learn new techniques, even if ST performance is frequently more correlated with luck than anything else. You needn't be shy about success or failure. The beauty of these threads for me is the opportunity to learn from one another. That is why I feel the transparency of posting RT trades is important. It's important to keep score, I believe, and to ponder our results and why they may have deviated from our expectations. Investors are in a kind of competition whether or not we prefer to acknowledge it. Fortunately AMAT is sufficiently liquid that none of our moves will affect it one way or another. The only competition that matters, of course, is with yourself. It should be a wonderful weekend for sailing! Sam
