That is possible. Meat contains considerably more fat than plant tissue. The enzymes that digest fat will decline in quantity in a vegan. Also the amount of bile the body produces will decline. (Bile contains chemicals that increase the solubility of fat in water and help transport it into the tissue lining the tract.) Too much fat (more than can be handled by the available enzymes and bile) has nasty effects in the digestive tract. Like diarrhea and upset stomach.
