of course banning for lying would result in a nearly empty thread Only you and I would be left, Mrs. Peel. :-) Additionaly I believe what people find so odious about him is his judgement of the final dispensation of another person's soul. He's also charged that she practiced witchcraft. Whatever that is. I think a good part of is simply that he was attacking a person who is not here to defend herself and who had a great many close friends.
