<<AG "Alas, technology has not allowed us to see into the future any more clearly than we could previously",>>

It has always been very costly to acquire and store information. Thus only an elite could use and profit from it. Technology didn't allow the this elite to see further, as AG had expected. But technology massified information making possible to the (just above) average guy (JAAG)* profit and benefit from acquiring, refining and storing information.

What AG is surprised is that technology didn't allow the elite to extend the info-horizon beyond the reaches of JAAG to keep the lead as it always had.

Translating: It is getting hard and harder for the elite pull the wool over -not J6P- but over the eyes of this % of the population I call JAAG.

And in doing so, let the JAAG caught up on the elite info lead. The governing elites -or powers that be- are lucky JAAG is very little % of the overall population.

JAAG is to say we are not talking about J6P, W3C etc.

JAAG is not sexist and can be translated as Just Above Average Girl.
