SECURITIES The company has participated in a private placement conducted by Nation Energy Inc., pursuant to which it acquired five million shares of Nation Energy Inc. at 20 cents per share for a total purchase price of $1-million (U.S.). As a result of the foregoing acquisition, the company now owns eight million common shares of Nation, representing approximately 49.9 per cent of the outstanding common shares of Nation. Nation Energy Inc. is an exploration stage company focused on exploring potential oil and gas projects. Nation currently has a working interest in the Bolton prospect, which is a new natural gas project in the Smoky area of Alberta, near the city of Grande Prairie.
