Hmmm... the shared experience of the last fifty years?? Does that mean that each of us can say that we're a "nation" because of the unique experiences we've each endured over the course of our lifetimes? And would that mean that Jordanians who refer to themselves as Palestinians, would not be able to claim membership in that nation because they haven't lived under Israeli occupation? Surely there must be something more to "nationhood" than that, wouldn't you think?? Hawk
