Thank you. Certainly, there are some scientists who believe in the possibility of a god. However, those very few who hold to the possibility, while yet quoting from a particular religious text--are generally considered softheaded.

When "greater scientists" are surveyed (those belonging to the National Academy of Scientists) 72.2 % DISbelieve in a personal god, while 20.8% are agnostic...as reported in "Nature", 1998.

There is a clear correspondence between the degree of scientific knowledge and experience...and the degree to which they Disbelieve in a personal god.

Keep in mind though, Mr. Dithers, that only about one in fifteen accomplished scientists believe in a personal god. This does not mean that they are wrong--only that they are not representative of the common scientific viewpoint as regards the supernatural.
