When are WE going to learn that war does not work?....Did WE pick this fight? Seems to me WE were just stumbling along in our usual American way.....watching spoiled sports figures & wrestling & nascar & stupid rock stars & silly Hollywood celebrities....buying SUVs, gold chains, leather jackets, sprawling houses. Life as usual at 8:45 on Sept 11 & 5 min. later we realized that someone had decided they wanted to make a statement to the world at our expense. We did not pick the fight.....but we intend to finish it on our terms. That's what we did after WWII & the world was a better place when all was said & done. That will be the result of this little problem as well.
