happy holi to you.. Actually I saw your note but got side tracked and could not edit my post.

Realize though I have never actually lived in India although I have been there couple of times so closest I have come to shades of Holi or deewali is when we were in Burma and I was quite young.. Other then that my exposure is through Indian movies.. Looks like lots of fun..

Burmese actually have a similar festival.. Not with colors but with plain water.. regular or iced.. lasts 2-3 days and you cannot leave your home without being soaked to the bones.. It is called Dhagula or close to it.. in April or May some time..
