Of course it did, it made them a group of martyr's who are talked about to this day as you just did. The Palestinian suicide bombers and the 911 terrorists also became martyrs.... And if "turning the other cheek" is not appeasement what is it? I also gather from you post that there are "bibles" and there are "bibles"....you pick the one you like. That's what Osama and his boys do with the Koran I understand. Isn't religion wonderful?

Spoken like a good Christian condemning a whole religion and elevating your religion to God anointed. You voilate every principle Jesus put forward while on earth. You should reexamine whether you are Christian or just full of hate.
