The other arab nations need to stand up and support peace

That's the heart of the problem, John. The current Arab regimes derive immense benefit from the conflict; it distracts their own unemployed masses from domestic grievances. That's why anyone who criticises the government goes to jail; but the newspapers are free the criticise Israel or the US as much as they please.

You are correct....there is no peace for US troops to protect! It really is that simple!

The Saudi surrender plan is a joke! Saudia Arabia should recognize Israel unconditionally NOW! That would be a peace initiative! Israel has existed as a recognized state since 1948, they do not need to give land for peace, ceasefire or normal arab relations! Peace talks and agreements are not a tool to advance agendas in a war against Israel

It's ok for the US to protect muslim against muslim in conflicts...somalia,Bosnia, Kuwait...etc but, we can't protect or stand behind Israel? It wasn't the Jews attacking Kuwait it was the arabs! It wasn't the Palestinians attacking Israel in '67 it was the Arabs. If you lose land in war that's tough...that's history!
