"Amazon is not really cash flow positive!"

Amazon has only had two quarters that were cash flow positive and that was without expensing stock options. Both were in Q4s one in 2001 and one in 1997. If Amazon used a fiscal year that is standard for retailers (ending January 31), then Amazon would have never had a cash flow positive quarter. In reality Amaon has never had a true cash flow positive quarter and it would be worse if the options were expensed.

Let's give Jeff Bezos a few hundred million dollars for running such a successful firm.
