Seeing my name got me curious so I followed this thread back about two dozen messages. What the heck did I give supporting documentation for? Is this about Pearl Harbor? My Dad was at Pearl with the fleet well before the attack but was reassigned to recruit new Marines in Butte Montana before the attack. Lucky for me, since he then met my Mom and stole her from her fiance the same night. (His Heavy Cruiser, the Northampton, was sunk later in the war, not at Pearl.) Dave Ellen gave the nearest things to supporting documentation.
