Oh geezus... don't bring up god into this.. Because the record is clear that God has generally been on the side of the Jews when it comes to dealing with the local "sons of Ishmael"..

As a matter of fact, I can quote you chapter and verse where God told the Jews to invade, conquer, and kill every man, woman, and child in Canaan...

Some people claim the Palestinians are really descendants of the Philistines.. (which would put the entire struggle into a totally different biblical context)..

The Palestinians can blame King Hussein for their predicament. After all, he's the one who foolishly opted to declare war on Israel in 1967, despite Israeli pleas to remain neutral and not side with Egypt. But no.. he and his Arab League troops felt compelled to attack and they wound up losing that territory they call the West Bank.

And even worse, in 1989, King Hussein effectively abandoned his people by disclaiming further ownership over the occupied territories. And Israel and Jordan didn't manage to finally sign a peace treaty until 1994, 5 years later..

But that left those residents in the occupied territories as a people without a country... And without the economic means, or markets, to create one of their own....

Face some friggin' facts NYCboy.. Most of the Palestinian population relies upon Israel for their jobs, their electricity, and their other basic utilities... They haven't got the infrastructure to "go it alone".. And Gaza has the only port facilities, but it's not connected to the West Bank...
