All I can think of is the big earthquake in Taiwan. Briefing says the foundries are operating normally, though.

10:03 ET ISM Index rises to 55.6%; better than expected
The March ISM Index rose to 55.6% from 54.7% in February; this was a bit better than the 54.8% consensus. The new orders index continued to show exceptional strength, rising to 65.3% from 62.8%, which is good news for the manufacturing sector. Construction Spending rose 1.1% in February, better than the 0.6% consensus. Neither of these numbers was shocking, but they were both a bit better than expected and are thus good news for the market and the economy.
