Tops and bottoms that you don't see on Datona Beach...

I keep reading bull/bear surveys that say we are too bullish for a bottom.

Then I listen to financial talk radio and most are talking about bonds or about how they raised large cash positions and are waiting for a bell to ring to say we are at a bottom. (most of these neglect to mention that they have jumped into QQQ or other large cap tech far too early and are sitting on huge losses).

Telecom has been in oversold extremes via Dorsey Write bullish percentages (Data siliconinvestor.com for weeks and the people on radio and TV are still saying it is a terrible thing to buy now. Who's left in telecom that won't sell if the news could find a way to get worse? Telecom is more oversold than internet stocks!

Final straw, a young friend of mine couldn't stop talking about buying stocks as she worked at Lucent then Cisco now SCHLUMBERGER. She's given up on stocks now for her free cash and is considering buying real estate. It makes me think we get a recovery in the stock maket or the economy tanks again and takes real estate with it.
