Michael,
I basically agree with your stance but sometimes I get the impression that this "restructuring / rightsizing" emerges as an objective of its own (an "end") instead of a means to another end (future profits). Perhaps this is all about people like me more concerned with top than bottom lines..

let's see - at least semi segments with DIRECT consumer exposure are performing well
