I agree on Foveon technology
we have two opposites in this industry
digital imaging will be of paramount importance
but mainly to professional photo experts
isnt this the case?
and equipment for Foveon comes with $4-5000 price tag?

oldline simple film with development still reigns supreme in China and the less than demanding cutting edge users the world over
like me, every single friend of mine, and every single friend of everyone I have ever known

is this Foveon the work of Carter Meade that Gilder spoke of?
it is finally here
great news for pro photographers
but tell the 500 million Chinese film users
they dont give a shit
and I dont much either for personal usage
their numbers (and other oldliners) will grow much faster than your supplanted numbers

I maintain that following China trends will be the dominate force behind all commodity issues in the 1990's

appreciate your info and views
I am not at all impressed with Kodak's record
they are losing big share to Fuji, have been for years
