To All, Funny stuff about Wall Street Week in the Urinal today. Ruykeyser was too old, so his temporary replacement is 3 years older? I don't watch it, unless one of my friends is on (Gretchen Lash, Dan Roling, Pete Anderson, etc.), but the author said it was dull. I don't doubt it. I had no sympathy for Lou, but if the author is right and he was taken off because he is a conservative and the head of PBS is a liberal, then it makes me bristle. Though, in all honesty, I would hope the conservatives could find a more palatable poster child. But I am too much of a liberal to think that somebody's political and social leanings should disqualify him from telling bad jokes on a network that begs for its money. And the age thing is beyond the pale. Now, if he were canned for being an insufferable twit or too bullish to the nth degree, then I would lead the cheers.
