You mean the Board of Cheerleaders, don't you? Independent thinkers need not apply. No, if you want to be one of the cool kids, you can't ever question the head cheerleader. Oh, and you can't be nice to the nerds and the band geeks - that'll get you blackballed.

But there are no headlines in that sort of work and there is no glory in it. Directors of the better companies ( INTC) have plenty of dissent at the meetings but once a decision is made they unify behind the company and the decision to give an unambiguous message to the shareholders and the employees. Wally never got that far in business grade school...too bad for him JMO
