RE:Kids

I haven't seen or spoken to my son for three months. He doesn't have a phone and doesn't call me. I was upset for a while, but now I just see it as having a break from being a parent. I'll go visit him next time I'm in Houston.
Also, my sister-in-law's oldest son managed to get his(well, theirs really) car towed away when he was in Miami for spring break last week.
When asked why he parked in a tow-away zone, his response was that "There was nowhere else to park.". His stepfather tried to get it back (he is a pilot and happened to have a stopover in Ft. Lauderdale), but he couldn't because the vehicle is not in his name. Now, my nephew is not communicating with anybody(we think he hitched a ride from Florida back to Louisiana) and the vehicle is still in Miami gathering costs daily. Were we that stupid in our early 20's?
