Ah Heaven and Hell and the afterlife. How very quaint an idea! Look around you and you will see that this world is still a primeval jungle. The weapons have become more sophisticated but the law of the jungle, survival of the fittest, still prevails. I understand your attempt to give our lives more meaning than that because we are intelligent creatures but the reality is our intelligence really only facilitates the technology to live more comfortably and to kill each other with more efficiency. Face the reality and be prepared to eat before you are eaten. By the way, I have never encountered a true practicing disciple of Jesus Christ. I think, if he exists, he has never had to negotiate rush hour traffic in So. Florida. JMHO! alanib
