MOST POPULAR PRINTS FROM THE GALLERY

Many have asked what the most popular prints are on the landscape website. These are the most requested. Nearly all of the Yosemite and Bryce National Park images, and the Zion print which looks like a watercolor of a Lord of Rings setting, are popular. Also the incredibly bright New England fall color shot from a classic stone bridge over a beautiful stream is gorgeous, as are any of the Canyonland Arch shots at sunrise.

Note: You may need to adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor for best results. The prints are much charper in person than they appear on your monitor as they were compressed using Photoshop to keep loading time down. The actual print you receive is sharp and beautiful. An exchange satisfaction guarantee is always assured, of course.

Dave,

Thanks for hosting a fun contest!! FWIW, I had my picture picked out the day I signed up. I would have said it earlier, but didn't want to jinx myself <gg>

Thanks again,

Dave, very generous and thoughtful of you thanks.

I like the Mt. Baker CAS001 myself, even though my wife says it is "traditional". LOL Kind of fits in the living in the Pacific Northwest anyway.

She likes the one with the tree growing out of a cliff in Bryce Canyon. We plan to drive through Yosemite in early may in route from LV to Sacramento (gotta see the kids).

Bruce

[Smart_Money of 4th place] "I want a cool print!!!"

I want a cool print!!! 3rd place is not good enough. :(

Dave, This is a "feel good" post from me to you that may require
a little un-confusion upfront for that to be obtained. For many reasons
that are correct and sane for me to understand i would like to have
the prize winners bumped up one level as i remove myself for
the following reasons.

1. Where i live has many big white walls completely void
of any color or pictures or objects.
2. My younger brother, who to me is the nicest person i ever met,
has just purchased a large area of land that touches the Pacific Ocean
or as close to the water one can buy land if the sea shore is
not for sale federal property, Coos Bay, Oregon, 100 miles north
of Redwood National Park.
3. Once completion of his house to be built, while he lives in
whatever house was already there, he will have many new
and empty walls to hang more and more of those similiar
pictures that you have taken on the west coast, and here
is where i will later not only see whatever pictures i would
have selected from your current web site, but since my brother
has already colected many many similiar picture of which i have
actually looked at and know he has none of yours that i see on
your web site, and no question he will flip over yours and order
many if not all of those taken in the national parks by you.
4. Since i do enjoy your pictures, but for reasons quite difficult
to explain, i would not hang it or place it where i live for viewing,
but later i know that i will see lots of them in person at my brother's home.
5. Since i'am not a trader in these markets like all those others
that do post here, and my two picks were just a cut & paste/copy
from a gold bug web site that to this day i have zero knowledge
of these two companies in terms of where their headquarters is,
as in what country, and i don't even know what countries they
mine for gold. Really. To me winning first place using gold bugs picks
has obtained for me a wonderful story to share on three Si threads
where gold bugs battle anti-gold/gata folks :o) and this is worth
its weight in gold.

So, please readjust the prize awarding as follows, as yes i did
obtain first place, but please as to my request allow everyone
in the prize awarding slots to bump up one level, as follows,
while i ask that my first place win be my only prize with
Sting-Ray_57 allowed to receive what i would have.

[prize selection] CONTEST WINNERS
First --- Sting-Ray_57 = $19,182
Second -- Jorj X. Mckie = $15,031
Third --- Smart_Money = $14,552

thanks,
and i already have a large number of black & white
Doom & Gloom picture (no people, just sky & trees)
specially created/taken for me. Hopefully yours do not
deliver the moods mine do :o)
