TSF, I always get the comments about buying puts, and short selling probably, too, if I were talking about that: "the market always goes up over time. There is no way you can make money doing that." What they don't realize is that the indices they call "the market," have been culled of all the losers over the years and bear no resemblance to what they once were. So, if you don't count your losers, the indices do go up over time. <g>
