Intel's ultra popular Pentium 4 processors are usual targets, even though the Chipzilla has always harshly condemned the practice. We had already shown P4s tweaked to reach 3 and 3.6 GHz. Now, the bar is raised, with one of the processors reaching 4010MHz, or approximately 4 giga. The Pentium 4 2.4 GHz running at 4 GHz overcloking experience was recently posted in Holicho's homepage and quickly linked in VR-Zone's OC Database. In this year's CeBIT Hannover, Intel made a very brief demonstration of a Pentium 4 at 4.1GHz, breaking the last record set by the company at the Intel Developers Forum of 4 GHz. In both cases, the prototype was not shown but, instead, the achievement could be seen through a video in the company's press conference. Still, consumers will still have to wait until the end of this year to get their P4s running at "modest" 3GHz.
