if arafat dies from natural causes, he's what in his late 70's?, it's not going to change anything. people think this is just a spat between pals and israelites. The problem stems from their religion. In saudi and iran they allow no other religion, in egypt they brutalize the christians, in algeria looks what goes on, it's the same everywhere that the muslims are. they are encouraging their people here in the states to start to rattle their chains. the saudis are funding schools in many states that teach fundamental islam.

IMO we are in the same time period as 1933 when hitler came to power, except this time it's the muslims, not the nazis.

Israel is just a smokescren for the larger problem. give them israel, that's not going to change their religion and it's basic beliefs. they will still carry on what they believe their mission is, and that's world domination through islam.

Tony Blair is just being realistic. There is no way that we will get any support from Arab countries for a war against Iraq while we continue to be so biased in favor of Israel. Lets face it, Sharon's policy is an unmitigated disaster, and he can only think in terms of more of the same thing. He is determined to make sure that no Palestinian State will ever be formed, and will never agree to the only thing that might lead to an end to the violence, that is the removal of fortified settler enclaves from Arab land. While suicide bombing is totally repugnant to us, remember that the Palestinians can't afford $50-million aircraft, attack helicopters, and the latest 50-ton tanks. They use what they have available. This kind of tactic is only possible when you have lots of unemployed, desperate young people who see no future for themselves and feel they have nothing to lose. The more the Israelis blunder about like bulls in a china shop, destroying house and businesses, bulldozing orchards, tearing up streets, and shooting teenaged stone-throwers, the more recruits the people behind the suicide attacks will find. Someone has to break the circle of revenge and retaliation, and hold fast while fanatics try to destroy peace efforts. It's no use to blame Arafat for everything that happens and demand that he take action, while cutting off his communications, destroying his police buildings, and shooting his policemen. Maybe the Israelis don't like Arafat, but who do you think would replace him? Someone more moderate?

you have got to be kidding..THE CHOSEN PEOPLE will choose the ultimate weapon without second thoughts if it ever came to that....this group which has told the world over and over again how they suffered, and whose economy cant support their population without getting BILLIONS every year from the American tax payer are now trying to eradicate the Palestinians...Sharon is a criminal against humanity like Milosevic and should be at the Hague on trial. So whose waiting in the wings..Netanyahu the man directly responsible for the assasination of Rabin , and who caused the problem we have today by RENEGOTIATING everything rabin and the palestinians had agreed to,if it were not for this jerk off there would be peace in the valley and i shudder ...but i strongly believe there would not have been a sept 11...

That's exactly what was said before the 1967 war... and we know how that one turned out, don't we?

Israel's military force is great but small and there is no way they can defend themselves against iraq, syria, iran, joran ect..
