I must admit that I have been openly critical in the past for Israels reactions. At times they have been overly aggressive and arrogant in their dealings with other countries. That said I think the landscape has change somewhat. They remained on the sidelines and Saddam lobbed rockets into their country in 1991. In addition over the past 4 years I think they have taken the high road with the Palestinians. At this point I'd say they've put up with more than enough to justify an attack on Palestine. The problem is that any retaliation by Israel will have ramifications on how we must deal with that region. Already the Arab world has said they don't want the US invading Iraq. Between that and an Israeli retaliation I think the end result could be a world war. I wish they wouldn't respond but if it were me I'd have toasted the Palestinians already
