Truth is, the US should build automotive factories in Pakistan and India. Steel is about to become a real problem for us soon. We'll need to offset the added cost. Russian steel should get cheap soon and both Pakistan and India can buy it cheaper than us (with the new tariff). Europe is no different. Both countries should be "courting" the US and Europe for our automotive needs. In particular, Pakistan is holding a chip they can cash in now in the form of investment.
