Isreal could swamp ANY of its neighbors. As far as doing without the US - Think again. They have the power they have as a direct result of the United States. In fact I would go so far as to say we changed the balance of power in that region by building Israel. That is one of the reasons that region hates us. Israel also receives around 2 billion a year from the US so they had better not get too cocky. For the first time in my life its seems like the world actually sides with Israel. FOr that reason they should be measured in their response.
