Siebel Systems (SEBL) 33.60 +0.99: So far, shares look like they're headed for a promising month; stock is trading over 3% higher today vs. Mar's volatile ride fueled by rumors and sector runs/declines. SEBL's performance is aided by positive note out of Wachovia: according to channel checks, firm believes the co's qtr closed on schedule and is optimistic that results could even exceed their EPS/revenue ests of $0.12/$478 mln; firm would not be surprised to see license revenue come in at closer to $260 mln or greater. Wachovia also believes that the SEBL 7 upgrade cycle is going better than they anticipated, with many customers planning to begin the upgrade process within the calendar year.
