Eric, I don't know how this is finally going to be implemented, but it could result in better pricing. There has been huge resistance from the exchanges to passing orders to the exchange with the best price. They have been holding out for a system that permits them to fill orders directed to them at best market price, rather than passing them along. That system would let them quote inferior prices and still grab order flow when they choose to do so. Dan
